Bobby G started playing guitar at a very early age.  Born in a Chicago Italian neighborhood but growing up primarily in the south, playing guitar and harmonica was the norm.  His uncle Rocco played with the 50’s harmonica band, the Harmonicats. Early on his uncle taught him things on the harmonica and he was hooked.  He carried a blues harmonica in his pocket throughout his whole childhood, playing it daily.  After moving to California in the late 70’s, he has been part of the Southern California music scene since.  He played the “5 nighters” throughout Orange County for  years and has played more weddings and casuals than he can count.  He has been fortunate to have worked in well known studios and on occasion with recognizable artists along with session work and some album opportunities over the years.  He also has a lot of song writing and collaboration in his resume.  He too is a founding member of Funky Syndrome and works with Charlene in the OC Groove band as well.  He loves playing, entertaining and writing music and has been known to say that he’ll probably be playing at his own funeral.
